Monthly charges for doing something once. (e.g. Spark $15/month for a static IP).

Selfies with dog ears & noses imposed over the top. WTF is that about?

Kids seem to love this and that's okay but adults should definitely know better.

People who pass you (two lanes going in your direction) then pull in front of you, impacting cruise control even though the other lane is empty.

Do you mean with one of those radar assisted cruise controls?

Products that scream New! Improved! Do you mean to tell me I have been using an old, unimproved version up to now? If you were selling me crap before, why would I possibly want to continue doing business with you?

And the new and improved version is worse than the old version (Milo, Shapes (arguable))

Unfortunately no. I have to manually adjust the speed.

Jim Davis commented on this way back in 1985!

Also, beer brands which have "Pure" lines - implying that all their other brands are thus "Impure" or "Contaminated"....!

You could only improve Milo. It's not possible to make it taste worse.

Over-quoting on Geekzone. On other technical forums it is prohibited and users could be penalized.

This one just came up.

Producers who put albums together and fade tracks out when there is a fabulous guitar solo going on, which sounds as though it went on for some reasonable time and with great skill after the track was faded!

The track that made me think of this was Single Handed Sailor by Dire Straits on Communique, but another is the excellent live version of No Woman No Cry by BMW on the Greatest Hits album.

When I see it I remove quotes. Report. I warn users. It is just lazy of them.

The problem is it is not as simple as simply highlighting the text you do not want to quote and hitting delete. As a non-IT person, BBCode means as much to me as Mandarin and when I get told that my post won't work because it lacks things I don't understand, I for one find it a lot easier to just let the system quote everything. I'm possibly not the only one.

I have no idea how forum software works etc but I do know that there are a lot of other versions on other forums which are much more akin to just using a WP. Delete what you want - the system just seems to fix it and post just fine.

GZ is not a purely technical forum I would not say. Certainly it's biased that way, but not exclusively.

It is that some. Highlight and delete. Just keep the pairs of quote and /quote tags.

I can just remove the button and make people copy and paste. That is harderm
