Two things:

1. The amount of time it takes to format a 50 gig Blu-ray (it's around three hours)

2. Getting most of the way through the format then Windows synching the (drifted) clock with a time server which causes the format to immediately "fail" with a timeout.

Is there no "quick format" option?

Batman:

I have asked insurer to explain their wording before, and each time, they just quoted me the policy.

After about 3 times I gave them a scenario and asked what would the result be. Want to guess their response?

And I quote.

"We are unable to comment on scenarios that have not yet taken place. Please refer to our policy."

So, I went to youtube and listened to Pink. (No, no steam coming out of my ears, that would spoil my holiday planning.)

Haha ok.

But, I was only trying to ask if CDW was included in my rental, it was unclear.

What is the wording on the insurance policy?

Yes, but my standalone player won't read a quick-formatted disc.

I've seen so many sites do that, including Amazon. "Since you bought Guardians of the Galaxy on Blu-ray, are you interested in buying Guardians of the Galaxy on DVD?"

I'm annoyed because I can't see the number of replies in the thread. Why would that be?

Win 10 pestering me to install the new feature update. So when I have finished using my computer I select - Update and shutdown. Except it shutdown's without installing any updates. And more annoyingly, the "update and shutdown" feature used to work perfectly fine.
