Win 10 pestering me to install the new feature update. So when I have finished using my computer I select - Update and shutdown. Except it shutdown's without installing any updates. And more annoyingly, the "update and shutdown" feature used to work perfectly fine.

Haha I thought I was the only one. Nightmare.

K, by itself in that context, does mean 1000.

Kermit's post used k, not K.

  • kilo (ie. 1000) = k
  • Kelvin = K
  • There's some debate about what symbol to use for 1024, for example a lot of people tend to write "KB" for "kilobyte" but "kb" for "kilobit".

TradeMe search filter.

Search for a car in the 15-20k range and it will begin with cars costing 25K.

Search for an i7 and it will list i5.

Companies which send you an email to say "Your order is on the way".

Only problem - is that it isn't!

Tracking shows - all they have done is printed the tracking label!

It doesn't prove the parcel is even ready for pickup!

I'm looking at you "The Warehouse"!

Email received at 4pm Friday, and 46hrs later still shows the same.

It is NOT on it's way if it hasn't left yet!
