I dislike it when people won't open Windows 10 on a bus. Much worse!

:)

Disassembly time (a notebook in this case):

Step 1: remove all screws

Step 2: carefully start to pry apart

Step 3: apply more force

Step 4: apply much more force

Step 5: find the hidden screw

Step 6: return to step 1

I had to read his post twice before I clicked it was a typo. I was thinking... "Windows 8n - is that for Netbooks or something"?

The TVNZ OneNews item tonight about the Super Blue Blood Red moon that had it rotating!!! Come on, how could anyone at TVNZ think that is right? It always has the same face to the earth, otherwise no one would have ever had to visit the dark side of the moon.

That every smoke alarm has a slightly different mounting bracket so when you replace the alarm, you also have to replace the bracket.

Nitpick: The far side of the moon is not necessarily dark (although at the moment, being a full moon), it is.

Nitpick2: A blue moon is when you have 2 full moons in the same calendar month. Since the eclipse was at 2:30am on 1st Feb, this wasn't a Super *Blue* Blood Red moon.

The Ticketmaster website, especially its "I'm Not A Robot" validation every single time you click the Search (for tickets) button.

The 'I'm not a robot' validation, full stop. Anywhere and everywhere. God what a miserable pain that is.

I failed the geekzone one a few times in a row and started to have existential angst. Oh god, what if I am a robot!?

I assumed a true robot, not those data collecting thingies hanging around to spy.

(Maybe I should really check whether the mowing robot in the shed is stealthly posting in the gardener's forum via wifi ...) wink

Back to topic:

People too lazy to use the turn signal (I'm aware that I might hit up to more than 50% of the drivers depending of their country)
