That Hal thing proves that Siri's AI is better than Bixby.

If you ask Siri, to open the pod bay doors, she will (probably - depending on her mood) tell you she can't do that.

Bixby just does nothing.

Google autofill overlaying the webpage form's autocomplete e.g. nzpost

Would be cool if google autofill auto-disabled for such forms

Lizard1977: And it really bugs me how people have labelled these things as AI, because it dilutes what would be a truly groundbreaking development.

I got this far through your post and thought "this reminds me of those so-called hoverboards". Then I read the following paragraph. Great minds think alike!

Seeing "Henderson" on Vectors hot water restored list on Friday afternoon and looking forward to having a hot shower when I get home.

It appears according to Vector I live in "Henderson South" - a suburb that got added to the list the next day with a "Work currently in progress" label...

My wife has been using DuckDuckGo for a little while now.  Every once and a while I hear a muttered curse across the living room, when she's searching for something reasonably straightforward, and apparently DDG doesn't seem to know what she's talking about (whilst Google will return plenty of results).  We joked that the reason it's so secure is because no-one's using it...

I personally still use Google. It has the answers I need, and I don't subscribe the "they censor the Internet" conspiracy theories.

I use different ones, mainly Startpage, DDG and Google. If it is not something obvious, I sometimes start clicking two or three pages down to avoid the stuff that is just at the top because it is playing the ranking system.

People who ask for advice here on gz - and when people ask for more info so as to be able to give more accurate advice, you never hear from the OP again.

Doctor's appointments. They are never, ever, ever on time. Why don't they just make them a half-hour later?
