gundar:tdgeek: Websites wanting me to watch a video, but making me watch 15 seconds of ads, so I don't watch the video.
Then you find the video you wanted to watch is actually shorter than the advert you had to watch, to watch it....

I don't know if this can be considered small, because it makes me so red rage incensed that I want to jump up and down and scream: Those stupid, idiotic, pointless, imbecilic power plugs with enormous flanges and AC adapters with diagonal boxes so no normal plug can fit into the next socket on the extension board. I am so sick to death of getting caught out by this needless design stupidity. When did manufacturers start thinking this was a good idea? D'oh, people, your crap adapter is not the only thing that has to be plugged in!

Actually videos that give you an option to skip the ad in say 15 seconds, but actually the ad is 15 seconds long anyway :(
I reconsidered my attitude to the ads few days ago and switched the ads on on my training videos.
Recent couple of videos are 7 minutes and I checked 1 add - it was about 30 seconds.
What is strange (not annoying but strange) in Youtube Admin Console is that if your site is registered in New Zealand - you can not set it up for the target audience in USA where majority of my potential clients reside.
Bitey ants
SepticSceptic:
Bitey ants
I recently read a story from the bee keeper who's bees were suffering from ants. They found the cure - parsley which ants disliked.
Quick google search suggested some other alternatives. Was trying to get confirmation about "parsley" suggestion but it was not mentioned in the first top searches:

MrsDarthKermit:
Raindrops on roses,
Whiskers on kittens,
Bright copper kettles
And warm woollen mittens.....
That is plagiarism, I am afraid:

As for the "whiskers on kittens" - I've learnt that cats need them as they can't see in the close proximity and those are "radars" for them...
As for the "warm wollen mittens" - you visit Siberia in winter (-40C - 60C) and all of a sudden you'd love them..

Mittens @ -40 to -60c would not help much ,,,
Whiskers on kittens aren't good for much, either. Cats, now, are another matter.

I hate all the IVR on my (too many) voicemails. Why does my home, work and mobile voicemail service each use a different number for "delete message"!? And since I don't get enough voicemails any more to be checking them more than a few times a week, I can never remember the different number for each and so am forced to wait through the options for saving, forwarding. And forwarding!? I have *never* forwarded a voicemail...
I haven't read through all 37 pages of this thread so apologies if this is a duplicate.

Something that annoys me is people who post in a thread without reading through the thread to see if their comment has already been posted.

Voicemail on its own pisses me off. Sure it made sense when email was not a thing, SMS was not a thing and people had phones that did not do either of those things. Nowdays it is a useless piece of old crap that only old people use, leaving messages despite the greeting saying "Send me a text or an email, I dont listen to messages left here"
