It's 2018 and the MetService site still dumps you to the home page (instead of the page you're trying to look at) when you tap "full site" on a phone.

richms: Click to see full size

Because they had to come and swap the recently added cable down the driveway for a bigger one.

Still have the vdsl at least.

What???? Did Chorus make a mistake counting the number of houses down your driveway?

Why do they need to install a bigger cable?

This doesn't annoy me per se, but I'm saddened to see the local Video Ezy closing (despite the fact that I haven't rented anything in maybe 10 years). It's funny how emotions work...

As for an actual annoyance, My Food Bag claims to not require any hard-to-find ingredients, but this week's calls for "rice wine vinegar" which doesn't seem to exist at either New World or Countdown.

And you buy this "rice wine vinegar" to use a single time only then never again...

A friend has subsequently told me that "rice vinegar" (which I did find) and "rice wine vinegar" are the same thing, so this may ultimately be a non-issue. However, I'd then question why MFB calls for "rice wine vinegar" if that's not what's on the label!

Awkwardly positioned toilet paper that means you have to twist about 130 degrees while on the dunny - am I meant to straddle it?!

I rate hotels and motels on the degree of difficulty involved in reaching the loo paper. There's some shockers.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Cigna Funeral Cover ads.

Who is the guy in the ads? He used to be a sport presenter I believe. While I don't follow any sport, it really bugs me that I can't remember his name.

Use Two Fingers to Move Map

Seriously dumb UI on website embedded maps.
I realise you could get stuck if zoomed in, so the map is now full screen, but it still psses me off.

Sir Humphrey once knew, hence the frustration.

This kind of coverage on Stuff.

What should be an unashamedly good news story (Government fund to boost cell coverage! Major telcos cooperating in the public interest!) has to be twisted into a moan fest by the journos. How about interviewing someone happy about it instead of "I've been with Vodafone for 21 years. It's outrageous that they won't support me living in an idyllic rural lifestyle block! Change providers? Nah, I shouldn't have to. Anyway, they've got rubbish coverage somewhere else I might go to someday."

The number of times I've sworn off that shoddy rag. I really do mean it this time.
