Crappy little bullies at my kids school .

So, there is now a rule, that if a kid brings the rugby ball to school, they get to decide who can and who can't play on the rugby field at lunchtime?    Other parents are also hopping mad at this little boy-Hitler!  Thankfully teachers are onto his antics now!

Bullies should be added to the list of life certainties, along with death and taxes.

Why not just donate half a dozen rugby balls?! 😄

The cost of double glazing.

Quoted $38,000 + GST supply only.

I then asked them to quote for thermally broken frames.

Another $15,000 + GST. A 50% increase, close enough.

Idiot camera operators who zoom in and linger on every measles (or anything else) injection. Who needs to see e very last loving detail of the needle going in? What does it add? Some of us find that objectionable.

Inaccurate folder size reporting by File Explorer in Win10. I've a folder with 15GB of files and subfolders (mostly docx and pdf) reported as 3GB by File Explorer.

At least the solution, Treesize, has a small footprint.

That it's cheaper to buy a new extension cord than to rewire a new plug onto it.

Ie I wanted to add a piggyback plug to an existing extension 5m cord but the plug cost more than a new cord.

That its cheaper to buy a 3m extension than a plug, before you even add the wire onto things is another annoyance. I just buy the cheap 2 or 3m extension and chop the socket off to get a mains lead to wire onto things.

When you phone a restaurant that's 20 minutes drive away to ask if they have a table for two available in about half an hour, get told: "shouldn't be a problem", get in the car and drive for 20 minutes, arrive at restaurant and get seated at a table.........to then be told that there's about an hour's wait to get a meal.

We left and went elsewhere  (not a great deal of choice in Johnsonville).

Charaties who seemingly decided it's too long-winded to go through my Office Manager and call me on my mobile saying "since you are the decision-maker we thought it easier to go direct to you.

Well done, I've directly decided I won't be supporting your cause any more.

That someones business can fold (owing creditors substantial sums) whilst they have other businesses which are profitable, and that less than a year later 2 new related businesses open (restaurants).

I understand the law allows for this, but it feels really wrong.

Agree, but just noting that there is a ban on phoenix companies in NZ law. Not sure whether this actually applies in this case, but winding up one company and re-opening it again in short order with a similar name isn't allowed.

I am amazed at how few businesses require a director guarantee before extending credit to limited companies.
