My 2005 24" Dell 1080 monitor just gave up the ghost!

This beast has earned me a lot of money!!  Sad day.

Monitors really are the best value for money of any PC peripheral!

This is not little and extremely annoying. The increase in ageism on Geekzone.

That Companies think that EVERYONE is a FB member, and create a competition where your ONLY choice to enter is via their FB page!

Well 2Degrees, I have news for you - NOT EVERYONE is a FB Member! (Or wants to be!) (From their 12 days of Christmas email just received)

I am sure that they are heartbroken that a competition they have opened to drive facebook interactions will go unentered by people that do not use the platform.

but the problem is that they give the impression that they only care about certain subscribers and when it comes to deciding to stay or go to another ISP then people remember things like this.

The aphids on my indoor chilli plants are immune to soapy water spray remedy, 100% resistant to pyrethrum, and are breeding faster than I can scrape/brush/wipe them off.  I'm going to have to use a nuclear option.

Holy crap on a cracker you bred mutated super Aphids.  Try planting Chives and Garlic this will draw the Aphids to them.

I bought the bloody chilli seedlings from a nursery - rather than growing from seed - and they must have come pre-loaded with the mutant critters. Meanwhile, the rest of the vege garden outside got completely shredded in the hailstorm a week ago. I just need a plague of locusts to finish it all off, then I'll go to the supermarket like a normal person.

"The natural enemies of aphids are predators such as ladybird beetles (or ladybugs) and lacewings. Green lacewing larvae (Chrysoperla sp.) are voracious predators of aphids."

Here's where to buy some for $15

This product is currently oversubscribed, please check back next week to see whether it is back in stock.

I think by next week, at the rate the little buggers are breeding, there'll be more aphids on the chilli plants than there are stars in the universe.

Ill look into that, one of my waist high hedges has sooty mould, caused by white fly honeydew. Plus my roses are crap, everything is perfect, but didnt look that hard for aphids when I did look

I'll try these, I like natural if it works

Americans measure everything in feet and inches and Fahrenheit and write dates backwards and crash billion dollar probes onto Mars because metric readings make them go d'oh! Why expect them to understand how seasons work?
