Handsomedan:

Come on! Who else is going to smoke all the ganja and talk loudly to a backbeat about Gin n Juice and Bi+ches and hoes?

Is he a gardener? So he's out in the garden with a G&J and his dog - sounds pretty wholesome to me. Wonder what he's growing?

I think banning Bluetooth speakers is the appropriate response, not letting rap 'artists' earn money!!

People who say they "reached out" to someone. Unless your arms are 150km long you did not reach out to them, you called them or emailed them or contacted them. The English language already has plenty of terms to accurately describe what you did, there's no need to invent a new one that doesn't in any way describe what you did.

Edited to add: The only time when it's appropriate to talk about reaching out is when used in this sense (mostly SFW, although with humorous innuendo).

Similarly when important technical details are missing from a report.  "X was updated".  Yeah that's great.  Was the firmware updated? Was X replaced with a later model?

Manufacturers (computers, TV, smart monitors) that put a "Check for update" function on their devices and shows nothing when using it. You then visit the website and find that there are a couple of updates since the last one applied.

Why can't they maintain the update server current?

The fact that cuts in wood have the miraculous ability to transplant themselves a millimeter to the left or right no matter how many times you measure and check beforehand. Argh.

Recording an hour and a half program then finding the stupid thing had closed captions turned on.

Or better yet, seeing a series you want to record, you decide to wait a bit for a few episodes to build up, then you go to record them and the first episode has disappeared, into the ether, forever...aaaargh.

Finding out that I could buy Vogels Wholemeal in Sainsbury's in the UK tomorrow but not anywhere in NZ.

And that their Vogels loaves are 50g bigger than ours. And that they are about $1 cheaper!

That seems to be the default for YouTube now, every single time I want to watch something I have to turn CC off first, along with autoplay which has always been enabled.
