I was lucky enough to have my phone stolen on the weekend. Was taken from my bag while swimming with friends.

Fortunately i have insurance so its a few $100 to get a replacement but what ever.

Currently i can hardly operate without my iPhone 6S 64GB.
Yesterday when it happened, Tried to call the police to log a report, (CLOSED). Go to dairy to get a $30 phone and credit. Cant because i need to transfer money to the card i had. Use a friends phone, Cant because of 2FA.

Need to set an alarm so i can wake up for work today at 6AM, Cant as i dont have a phone. Let boss know im slightly late. Cant..

Still got another 2 days at  minimum before i can get a replacement.

Anyone had similar experiences?

You need a back up phone too!

I keep a spare VF Prime for times like these.

Yeah, Fortunately it was passcode protected and find my iphone was turned on.
I didnt find any trace of it so they probably disposed of it quickly or turned it off.

Thats probably not desirable.
What flagship do they make that is waterproof these days? I wonder if insurance gives me a budget for a new phone or a direct replacement.

Any phone of your liking - if you're willing to put up with a bulky case and risk loss of sound quality.
