I know I'm old when I get up every morning.

Perhaps Stuff are switching from their usual sources for half-accurate news, Reddit and Twitter, to GZ - where some of the posters are always right.

You help your stepson move into his flat which is all the way down 4 flights of steep stairs and can hardly walk for two days (and counting) afterwards.

Wait till he moves out....

I've quit my job and moving to another town, just to avoid the possibility.

Given the ageism that's apparently rife amongst employers you can't be that old if you've found another job ;p

Or in the case of my FIL who reads the death notices in the paper every day, turned up at a funeral to pay last respects to an old school friend he hadn't seen for 70 years, was probably eating his third sausage roll at the after-match function when it dawned on him that the real reason he didn't recognise a single person there was that two people could have the same name...

He probably still had a good time though - suasy rolls and club sandwiches at funerals are great - also the tea made in those massive teapots.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Are you one of those who make a living eating for free at funerals?
