freitasm: "Flying Auckland to Wellington with Air New Zealand - flight check"

NZ513 was actually Auckland to Christchurch. Last time this flight existed was three years ago. And this is a paywall article... So who pays for this "quality journalism"?

@sbiddle does.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/motoring/news/119999988/expensive-childrens-car-seat-catastrophically-fails-test-ejects-dummy

"An expensive children's car seat has catastrophically failed a crash test, ejecting a dummy representing a toddler in a way that experts say would have likely been fatal in a real road crash."

and at the bottom of the article, which is a direct pull through from the SMH in OZ..

*The model is not readily available in New Zealand

So much content on Stuff is for the Australian market, yet it is packaged as if it's relevant to New Zealand.

This is one of my big issues with Stuff.

How best to do that? I know! Why don't we set up an electronic billboard!

Good, they can tell people to: WASH THEIR HANDS

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

"Motorists stuck on Auckland's motorways this morning should expect delays following breakdowns and crashes throughout the network."

I mean, obviously you are going to expect delays if you're stuck. I think the word they wanted in place of stuck is travelling.

I don't think these news cadets actually think about what they're writing.
