The Dominion Post today.

Page 12, an opinion piece by one Thomas Couglan about the government ignoring expert advice.

Page 22, exact same article, albeit with a different headline.

Must be a slow news day.

Mike Hoskings 'thoughts' being behind the Herald paywall today. If that isn't an incentive not to subcribe, I don't know what is...

Disappointing errors by Stuff there.  I usually feel a need to do a quick quiz as a sanity check after reading their articles, if I pass then I allow myself to go outside, wave my fists in the air and shout at the clouds.

Stuff has an article about a woman falling through a floor and landing in the room below. For some reason this is in the Technology section.

According to NBC, people in Knoxville, Tennessee, are searching for a 'stripped' tiger.

From Stuff: https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/300108355/forty-children-some-injured-pulled-from-school-bus-after-collision-with-train

"The bus collided with the back of the bus despite lights and sirens on the railway crossing."

Great proof reading - NOT! Also - Since when do Railway Crossings have sirens?

OED: a device that makes a loud prolonged signal or warning sound

I'll let them get away with referring to the bells as sirens. The bus colliding with the bus, on the other hand...
