Could be that the procrastinators Christmas celebrations are coming up, if they get around to it.

Brunzy:
Auckland Transport is condemning the behaviour of a woman who was filmed urinating on a bus on the way to see Six60.
The woman, believed to have been drunk, has been causing [streams of outrage b] after she was apparently caught short on the way to Western Springs on Saturday night.

Interesting turn of phrase

I guess the other passengers were pissed off - but at least they weren’t pissed on.

I’ve failed again trying to get some text in bold using bbcode.
Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks

Or just select it, and hit the appropriate formatting button at the top of the editing window.

I took a screen shot of this beauty from Stuff last week - apparently Marlon Brando was at the Marlon Williams concert, for 15 years dead he's looking pretty good.

Text has since been changed but now preserved for geekzoners

You need to read this. Can't be easier or clearer.

Previously in the ipad i tried:

Bold[b]

[Bold b]

Bold[/b]

But they appear just as I type them.

Did you read the link?

You use the letter b between square brackets to start. Write the text. Then end with the /b between brackets again.

Try changing to the full or desktop version of Geekzone. If I recall correctly a slightly cut down version is served by default to tablets/phones. This may be why you don't see the format bar

However BBC is easy to use you just have to use the correct protocol. e.g. assume the letter "G" when used in BBC performed a format function you would type it like this [G]write the text you want to format then close it off[/G]. For Bold change the G for a B.

I wondered if you were on iPad - I’ve had similar problem in the past. Are you aware that if you long press on the ‘refresh page’ symbol at the top of the screen, it gives you a quick option to select ‘Request Desktop Site’?
