It was the 11th or 12th IIRC.. So not sure if I can do anything.

Anybody here from Auckland that may be able to pick up some other tyres for me?

This is all I might be able to afford now. :( http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1106768004- hes is in taupo but said he might be heading to aucks this weekend or something.

I agree they should've been sent earlier, but it hasn't been that long to be honest. I thought it had been a few weeks at least. That's why I asked the question. Payment probably appeared on Monday, so it's definitely too early to accuse him of acting fraudulently.

Tracking would definitely have been accepted now. What does it say?

Interesting, every time someone asks to see a photo of the plate, he refers them to plates.co.nz. That's lovely, but that doesn't show me a PHOTO of the plate.

And he doesn't allow pickups, LOL. So after you've paid him nearly quarter of a million bucks, you'd better pray very hard that your plate shows up. tongue-out

Not that I'm defending the guy - but you can own the rights to a plate without ever having the plates produced. You are only allowed to print the plates when they are assigned to a vehicle. So he doesn't need to show a photo of the plates to prove ownership.

On that note - just looked at the personlised plates site - over $1000 for them now! What a f'ing joke.

We know the 7 plate has been produced.  Also he says (or implies) that he has it in storage.

One last suggestion maybe - call the NZ Post guys and check if that Tracking number even exist on their system.

There are some post shops in some rural areas and even in Auckland that are half barber shops and do very basic postal activities. I have in the past observed that they don't track their tickets online - however when you call they do come up on their systems. I know this is long shot but suggest you call once to confirm with them.

Not surprising that the tracking number is a fake. Why else would he black list you on TradeMe, other than to take your money and run?

Just got off the phone fron NZ Post, The tracking number is indeed FAKE. No Records of it.

Someone ought to use a buynow on his auctions and place the feeds or go for a pickup alright, that little prick, and guess what trademe does...usual robotic nanny stuff, "bla bla bla most trades can be resolved with good communication" yea thats the canned email you guys send everybody, do your damn investigation, close his listing abilities and hand over the asshats details so I can prosecute him and his bank.

Is there anybody at all from Auckland here who might be willing have some tyres dropped in for me tomorrow morning, found somebody selling some from bay of plenty and they are visiting aucks tomorrow.

Haha, I complained about the "K" listing and got this as well.  They do listen, or maybe they are getting a few about this user now!
