Was aware that pub pokies and lotto return something to the community, but didn't realise the commercial aspects of the pokies at casinos, and zilch returned to the community ( other than taxes and  employment ).

Only do the $24 lotto fortnightly myself, and once every 5 years I may go to skycity with a hundred for the pokies, but that is usually for dinner, night out, etc as well.
