This would be perfect for when i do the dishes and general house cleaning, my phones headphone jack is busted so only plays through one side, and i can't use the inbuilt speaker because it always says headphones are connected.

I am not a father and I take terrible photos and I don’t deserve this but I would like to have it anyway. My qualifications: In the photo are shown (part of) a Sony Bravia 50 inch TV, a Panasonic analogue DVR to go with the antique Sky Pace decoder which still hasn’t been upgraded, pictures of my beloved cat (regrettably deceased), a RX-V750 Yamaha amp that still has great sound and was worth getting repaired because I can’t afford anything better, a Hauppauge HDMI recorder for when we finally do get the Sky upgrade, a streaming PC someone gave me that I built my own media centre for. All this is to make the giveaway organisers feel sorry for me.

So we also have a Sony blu-ray player not in the photo but we rarely use it. We are not into blockbuster videos and most of what we watch and listen to comes from streaming. Hopefully that won’t disqualify us. It cost me a lot of effort to get surround sound from the PC. Since my amp doesn’t do HDMI, I set up a separate parallel audio system using all of its digital inputs for the different devices. This is automatically switched from my Harmony remote. I had to add a sound card to the PC and then find the right driver for it (never the official one). Eventually I got it to work but then discovered I still can’t stream multiple audio channels without HDMI for some stupid Windows reason. I have a digital audio extractor but haven’t got around to connecting it yet. For one thing I have run out of inputs. Hopefully this is enough humiliation to win me the speaker.

Would be perfect for the coming summer months down at the pool, where my current JBL Charge would probably die after doofus dog knocks it into the water :-p

Just using my mobile phone's speakers when on the move. Going cheap doesn't seem to be worth it for external speakers to be honest so winning this would be nice

I need to blast some 80's hits into my house. I just don't understand any of the music my kids listen to and I am sorely outnumbered.

I currently use a cheap pair of headphones plugged into my computer. I think I paid a whopping $4 for them!

At the moment the only way I can listen to music outside is with the phone speaker, hopeless, or with headphone, not very sociable when people are over.

Phone or headphones are my options for portable music. So a portable speaker system would be perfect for me ....,  sorry, for whichever of my children thinks that they can't live without it.

When I'm inside I fire music across to my Soundbar, but when I'm out and about it is just the tinny speaker in my phone. Having something portable would be great
