It's always going to be dark I guess. 

 

At first I thought TWD was ridiculous - zombies wtf?  Then I realised it was simply the backdrop for the drama.

 

Community sanction of one form or another is what keeps people civilised. 

 

Take that sanction away via anarchy and then consider that most of the population probably has some kind of traumatic stress disorder ...

 

It's Lord of the Flies on an epic scale.

Having not read any of the comics and also avoiding any spoiler talk I was unprepared for that episode.
Brutal, unforgiving and captivating is how I would describe it.
The first ever episode is still my favourite, but this is a pretty close second.
