Trump blocked VoteVets.org on Twitter. He won't talk to anyone who is not openly supporting him. He decided to postpone his visit to the UK until the PM can guarantee he won't see protests.

Basically Trump would be a perfect dictator for Russia, Turkey, Egypt or North Korea. He doesn't believe in constructive dialog. His skin is too thin.

He was never fit to be President. The GOP is so full of self-interest that in a Faustian deal they sold their souls to the Devil just to capture power.

I've never seen an America so divided and so full of hate between people who should be on the same side of justice and equality. Dumb all around.

I saw that an civil liberties group is suing Trump over this, on the grounds that it is unconstitutional to deny your opponents a voice.

Hopefully that will be a very long postponement.  wink

Remember the result of this UK petition in February 2017:

Note that this petition was closed early - the number of signatures was rising rapidly when it was closed down.

Trump’s Cabinet, With a Prod, Extols the ‘Blessing’ of Serving Him

NY Times - WASHINGTON - One by one, they praised President Trump, taking turns complimenting his integrity, his message, his strength, his policies. Their leader sat smiling, nodding his approval.

  • “The greatest privilege of my life is to serve as vice president to the president who’s keeping his word to the American people,” Mike Pence said, starting things off.
  • “I am privileged to be here - deeply honored - and I want to thank you for your commitment to the American workers,” said Alexander Acosta, the secretary of labor.
  • Sonny Perdue, the agriculture secretary, had just returned from Mississippi and had a message to deliver. “They love you there,” he offered, grinning across the antique table at Mr. Trump.
  • Reince Priebus, the chief of staff whose job insecurity has been the subject of endless speculation, outdid them all, telling the president - and the assembled news cameras - “We thank you for the opportunity and the blessing to serve your agenda.”

Shooting at the Republican GOP baseball team practice, one of the victims (in critical condition) is the GOP House Whip.

Indications would make it appear to be an adamant anti-Trump lone gunman.

I believe something like this will actually result in a swell of Republican and Trump support.

Wonder if he will be so keen on opposing gun control any longer??

Right, so possibly homeless - but only as result of closing his business and moving to Washington to protest Trump.

They'll just keep spouting that they need more guns to stop gun violence, if the dudes that got shot were armed and not just the cops they could have all fought back.

At the end of World War II, pundits and social scientists had difficulty understanding how the German nation - basically an intelligent and industrious people -could have fallen under the control of a madman like Adolf Hitler.

In another 70 years, if there's anyone on the planet left alive, they won't be wondering how it could have happened again, because the black comedy that's beginning with the dissolution of American culture is being fully documented.

Much though I'd like to, I can't blame the GOP puppet for the chaos that's looming. It's the Republicans who've empowered - and continue to support - Adolf II.

And those caught in the crossfire could also experience the thrill of armed violence.

If the republicans are admitting Russia interfered with the US election, and put in a clause that Trump can't over-turn it, I'd say it's another bad day in Trumpville.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-40278569

"US senators have voted overwhelmingly to impose fresh sanctions on Russia over its alleged interference in last year's election.

They also agreed, by 97-2, to set up a process by which Congress can block any attempt by President Trump to scale back those sanctions.

The legislation was filed as an amendment to an Iran sanctions bill.

It comes amid concerns that members of Mr Trump's campaign team colluded with Russia over the election.

President Trump and Moscow have always denied any collusion.

A number of investigations into the allegations have been opened in Washington, including a justice department probe led by former FBI director Robert Mueller"

And now the Washington post headlines "Trump investigated by special counsel of obstruction of justice"

This just keeps on going...
