MikeB4: Food for thought, say in the remote chance Trump got impeached or booted by cabinet the next inline is Mike Pence.

From what I have read Pence is quite easy for the republicans to control. As opposed to Donald.

I just hope he treats the position with the respect it deserves. I don't think he realizes how much hard work it is. We are going to have years of Trump in the news now, with various parodies.

Trump is a moron.

He claims "Fake News - a total political witch hunt!"

Doh!  The "news" is real - Buzzfeed didn't make it up.  The matters discussed in the report might not be true or to his liking, but the report is real.

Most news sources reporting it are being responsible and stating that they can't verify the content.

Not sure why he'd be such a cry-baby about it anyway.  Even if the report is full of lies, it doesn't come close to the lies he's been dishing out.

Of course if he wasn't such a dirty rat (all that "grab 'em by the ____" stuff exposed) and had a history of being honest and decent, the report would probably be dismissed as conspiracy theory.

Yes - but hopefully in the second two years, he'll be singing castrato to an empty concert hall.

I have to say I have very mixed feelings about this. I detest Trump and I applaud anything that shows what a total SOB he is. At the same time, I find it incredibly depressing. I just hope it is over soon.

You may be right in (some) of your criticism of him, I don't disagree with all of it, however, in my mind you are still clearly trying to rationalize the decision to elect him, through the eyes of a Kiwi, and are probably incapable of understanding the American cultural and general lifestyles that lead to the choices they make. For that you would need to live there or spend a LOT of time there.

Yadayadayada. Would you like me to respond by a fictional analysis of what your failings are?

Not that one again.  I think already in this thread you've trotted that one out, and I've refuted it.

People are people, they want the same stuff basically.  Religion is a PITA, no less so in the USA than anywhere else.  The US is diverse.  I've seen most of it.  Trump did not win the popular vote.  Only 25% of eligible voters voted for Trump.  Many people in the US hate him.  Get over it.

He will be here for four years at least, who knows they may elect him for a second term

Responsible news agencies don't report unverified information in the first place.

Oh, we are calling people out for repeating the same stuff over and over? You were wrong the first 20 times, you'll still be wrong 10 pages from now. The end.

He won the election. Only a fool would deny it. He won it the same exact way all the last 10 did before him.

The popular vote means nothing but even that was within 2.1%

If people didn't vote, their opinions post-election mean nothing and carry no weight except to whine.

BS!!! They all reported Clinton email claims!

And this already has more credibility as the intelligence agencies felt there was enough proof and briefed him about it.

If everyone has a slave, does that make slavery ok? Nope.

All your comments prove, is that "all" those new agencies were irresponsible.

I'd love to be wrong, but I am thinking Trump is going to fuck up so badly.

I am inclined to agree. However, from this side of the world, nothing we can do but sit and watch and hope for the best. Go about your lives.

Everyone thought Bush would end the world too, and I am quite sure there have been as bad or worse than him, that predictions would have been equally gloomy for, relative to the times.

Pence is a career politician , he knows how the system works so he can be controlled. Trump has never held public office in his life, he has no idea how things are meant to be done, one of the main reasons he was elected and also the main reason he gets into trouble with his tweets.
