andrewNZ: I contacted them via their form last night. I received an automated email this morning stating that someone had edited my profile. Here's hoping they've fixed it.

Recommend people contact them the same way. More complaints might mean they fix it for everyone.

 

 

 

Based on their poor website often being down after the draws on wednesday and saturday, due to the number of people hitting the site, so tickets can't be checked online, I think they have larger online problems to deal with.

 

Are they a government body in anyway, as I believe government bodies are exempt from the antispam laws, under 6 (b) (vii) A?

 

 

 

Meaning of commercial electronic message

 

     

  •  

    For the purposes of this Act, commercial electronic message—

     

       

    •  

      (b) does not include an electronic message that—

       

         

      •  

        (vii) provides the recipient with information about goods or services offered or supplied by—

         

           

        •  

          (A) a government body; or

This is an interesting point but I cannot believe Lotto would be considered a government body for this purpose.
