Just sharing for those that haven't already seen it.

A few weeks ago, some scr0te stole Wellington Children's Hospital's PS4. The story was picked up on Kotaku and by internet demagogue Tycho Brahe. Within a week, the gamer/geek community had rallied to make a USD 10,000 donation to the hospital for play therapy equipment.

Brings a wee tear to the eye.

I would have donated a PS4 in a heartbeat - have got one here that largely goes unused however was beaten to it by tonnes of other like-minded people. It is sickening how somebody thought it was a great idea to seal a PS4 from a damn children's hospital but I am so happy to see that the theft in a way benefited them by giving global attention.
