Does anyone have a specific lawyers recommendation for Lawyers in Wellington? We have been quoted $2k for relatively simple matched wills although we do have 2 kids.

Thanks

Anyone used LeagalBeagle.co.nz I am considering them to get a will created for both me and my wife due to the cost $65. Any other recommendations? It would be a pretty straight forward one, where everything goes to partner and child.

My partner and I are also in the process of updating our 80's Australian wills to NZ laws which not only contains property & assets distribution but also Powers of Attorney for property and health & welfare.

Though not legally binding, YET, it also contains a "Living Will" which basically contains our wishes & instructions should our quality of life, due to poor health, be such that we are not enjoying it or capable of making our own decisions (in other words turn the bloody machines off).

The overall package also contains organ harvesting & donation permissions and our funeral and disposal instructions.

Our respective families are all familiar and in agreement with our wishes and key members have copies of all instructions. This is important and everybody should ensure that significant others and family are aware of ALL your wishes.
