I hope all my fellow Aucklanders survived the night. I very nearly had to put on a long sleeved shirt and some socks. So much suffering.  wink

Temperature is a relative thing. In Fiji the locals will shiver and Wear jackets when it dips below 18c

But methinks the NZH article was tongue in cheek click bait

tardtasticx: Everyone seems to be assuming this NZH article is the true reflection of what all Aucklanders think. Most Aucklanders probably would say it's a bit chillier than normal and that's it. But y'know anything to have a dig at Auckland :-)

 

Who even reads The Herald anymore?

 

This is extremely significant news to their only remaining loyal customers - the homeless people living out doors on Queen St, who sleep on it and stuff it into their clothes for extra insulation.
