Hi.

We are considering the CONSIDERABLE savings to be made by a few of the "fixed fee annual" accounting firms around after having a go at a few of the more expensive options in the past 20 years.

Our requirements are very simple, mostly around year-end processing, and they are 1/3 or less the price we have been paying up until now.

Does anyone have any experience with these firms they can share?

Not exactly.

We approached our 'normal' accountants and negotiated an annual fixed fee which we pay monthly at no additional cost.

A couple of years back I moved my small business from a traditional accountant to beany.com, with a fixed fee. Best thing I ever did! They are based all over NZ (virtual company), so no office to go into. For me, that's a bonus....
My accounts are now way cheaper, I know exactly what the cost is going to be and they are considerably more responsive than my previous accountant. I say make the move, sooner rather than later - well, to Beany.com anyway...
