Handle9: The covid thread isn't the top trending thread. Hopefully the trump thread will also disappear soon.

Naah, it'll just get renamed: "Trump, the ongoing dumpster fire".

National Lampoon Christmas Vacation 1989 with Chevy Chase on tonight. One of my favourite Christmas movies that still brings a smile even though we’ve seen it a dozen times.

My wife reminding me that I was travelling when she saw Love Actually at the movies and missed out. "Fortunately" I've seen it approximately 472 times since, including every Christmas at some stage.

Merry Christmas everyone.

Neighbours tree turned on all night flashing every 6 seconds through the gable window.
Turkey in the oven.
Cut right thumb.
Bread rolls made in the shape of a Xmas tee.
Weather Man lied so 15 people will be huddled inside.
Wow yet another badge

Merry Christmas to all and good luck fitting leftovers in the fridge.

That some people think a tea spoon placed in the neck of a bottle of champagne will stop it going flat.

It’s a well-known fact that putting it in a champers bottleneck won’t stop your teaspoon going flat. So when that happens, get Uri Geller round to re-curve it.

I did see some video about covering things up will keep them from going flat, but really if you give something the oppertunity to need to be covered, you are doing something wrong.

Stu:

Yesterday, our youngest (of three) turned 20. Along with a handful of emotions, there is also a smile.

I thought it was bad when my eldest turned 15! 20 seems so...grown up!

Being 20 means my daughter buys me gin for Christmas :)

You're right. This whole time I've been thinking about the wine but it's all about the spoon 😀
