Seeing families walking towards the new QEII pool in Christchurch. First time they have been able to do that in over 7 years. They probably walked because the car park was 98% full.

This is a bit of a silly one, but MacOS 10.14 now has an option for correct (British) spelling in the UI. Finally :)

That Last Man Standing has been picked up by Fox for another season after being dropped. It's one of the best series on TV. If you liked Home Improvement, this is just as good.

It made my day too. Tim Allen even liked my comment :)

The comments in reply to this comment. I am having a good day between this and the above!

Reminds me of being in the US right after the RWC at a tech conference and a guy made a similar comment, in the presence of some Canadians, SA's and me. The Canadians ask him if he's actually seen a game. He says not really. So we showed him the 2011 RWC Final. After this, he looks right at me and says "what the hell is WRONG with you people?! Are you insane? Why would you DO this to yourselves".

It wasn't great but not bad, his right wing rants were tedious though.

Today I discovered an extension that restores the backspace functionality to Chrome. That made me smile.

The sue-happy Americans are at it again... I imported a Blu-ray movie from the US and the back of the packaging says that you'll need "a TV and a Blu-ray player (not included)". You think?!
