She's playing 'two point hospital' over there - as a surgeon in real.

Someone with a Yaris got free car rego for a year, and I probably drove an unregistered rental car around Auckland for a few days.

Why is facebook posting photo ads for Philips breast pumps on my (male, cis-gender, well past child-rearing age) newsfeed?

Didn't they say they were going to stop spying on their users?

Because you recently searched for "Big-breasted woman, lactating"? ;)

Last time I searched for what you suggest would have been before I was weaned from the earth mothers, at age 9, back at the hippy commune.

Drop in to local well-known computer/parts store to get a short USB-USBC cable to charge my phone in the car.  Salesperson collects 3 "different" cables in boxes from the display, puts them on the counter. One is labelled 1m, one is 100cm, one 1000mm.  "Too long" I say. "What about the other two" is the reply.

My Logitech trackball.

Never used a trackball mouse before. Had a wrist injury last year and found that, despite surgery etc, my wrist ached like mad if I used the computer for a long period.

Before going for a vertical mouse, I decided to try a trackball (because Logitech had just revamped theirs and it looked good). Took a wee while to get used to not moving the mouse itself, but once that passed, I can't see myself ever going back to a normal mouse now. Wrist is AOK ever since.

We all know some TLWs in our daily business.

ARO - stands for After Receipt of Order

ETA - Estimated Time of Arrival and so on.

New to me was the abbrevation I faced recently which was 'ATE' in a project's time schedule. I knew it as 'Automatic Test Equipment' but that made no sense to me. Therefore I had to ask for:

ATE - nowadays stands for After-Trump Era.

My updated google chrome url/search bar window now has round ends instead of rounded off square ends.
What an innovation - I feel thoroughly modernised today.  Out with the old - in with the new.

ummm... ATE is only a TLW if it is to do with food. In your context it is a TLA (which is also a TLA).

Damn, you are right. How distinguish between 'two' and 'three' except counting? wink
