Just shows how AI will cause all sort of problem when people try to discern reality from fake news.

Did you see the thing about Honey Nut Cheerios? You can skip the article if you like, and just look at the screenshots as they get progressively weirder and weirder.

Metservice predicted 5.6mm rain 1-2pm and we get...5.6mm rain 1-2pm. Impressed. First time for everything...

Ahh, but did you measure it yourself, or does Metservice have "totalRain = predictedRain;" in the code somewhere? :)

I would trust Metservice with my (pet gerbils) life. Besides, a stuck clock is correct twice a day. Or maybe they have a new random number generator...

Just got a Quadlock Wireless Carplay adaptor in the weekend.

It's rather nice to just get in the car with the iPhone in my pocket and have Carplay work after a brief pause for the handshake to work.

It's very good. I don't know what its long-term usage will be like, but I am enjoying it so far (day 3).

Makes me smile

SEEK and its algortihms.

My wife and I are looking at relocating out of Auckland in the near future so I've setup some job searches in my field/s in the regions that we a interested in to keep and eye on the jobs market. Aparently having worked in supply chain and project management for the last 25yrs qualifies me for a role as a deep sea fishing engineer or a role in early childhood education!

I look forward to reading my daily update of curated jobs for me as they make me chuckle.

Miss 9s school rippa coach is a tad over qualified. He’s played test rugby league, test rugby and coached international 7s.

It’s still like hearding cats, which makes me smile.

Someone who had a distinguished professional sporting career is still prepared to pay forward the care and support invested in him, even at the very bottom of the pyramid.  Demonstrates real quality of character. That makes me smile, too.

A bit like John Kirwan, AB legend, who was coaching a middle grade rugby team at Sacred Heart College.

Nah, it's his job. He works at the school as well as being a paid DOR for one of the rugby clubs here.

I have respect for JK for this work in mental health, but I don't rate him as a coach or pundit, he probably peaked there :)

Saw this on my last ride.

I'm going out on a limb and guessing a bachelor lives there.

Nah, he's been notified that his Street is to be sealed, and moved it inside 🙃

Not necessarily, a married friend of mine keeps his Ducati in the entrance lobby of his house.

Possibly so he can kiss it goodnight, since you have to walk past it to get to the bedroom.
