ChatGPT says yes. They did change that over time. I struggled getting into it many years ago but they have done a huge amount of improvement and there is an incredible amount of much content in it. I am really enjoying it now, and much better than D4. Path of Exile 2 is getting a lot of, ohhhh this is looking next gen ARPG. It’s going to be interesting to see if it can deliver.

I might give it another look then as I too struggled at the start and lost interest.

If you do then the Maxroll website is your friend. Having a build to follow gets you into the game better so you can enjoy it without spending all day working out where to put points or wondering which skill is good to try.

Finding out that the water coming out of the ground below our house and the neighbour's house isn't due to a pipe break in front of the house but further up the street where it always fails, which both means the ground shouldn't be heavily waterlogged in one spot that could slip and also that they won't have to dig up the garden at the front of the house to fix it.

A kinda of "morbid smirk" at the twit who set up SMS 2FA on a Bugmenot account. Apparently it was someone in NZ as it said "please enter the code we sent to +64xxxxxx052". I wonder how many of those they get each week.

Forgot my phone and wallet when I went to the supermarket and when asked by the slightly older lady at the checkout if I had a rewards card, I thought about it for a second, then remembered that I did.
Opened Stocard in my watch and proceeded to scan the barcode.

The checkout operator was absolutely blown away by it. She'd never seen someone use their watch for both a rewards card and payment before.
She was still telling the next customer all about it as I left.

Mrs Handle played in the netball tournament at the Dubai 7s this weekend and we had her team round for breakfast on Saturday. I had a friend, who I went to uni with, and his kids stay the night before and help do the bbq food.

Most of the ladies are between 25 and 30. It was pretty funny when my friend talked to them about how we'd been friends for 30 years and they looked at him like he had 3 heads.....

She's a classy lady. As are pretty much all of the women in the 7s and 15's teams.

Finding a forgotten sizeable stash of imidacloprid in the shed in the middle of an aphid epidemic, this is the only stuff I know of that actually deals with them.

The John Bishop show at Wellington Opera House last night.  Actually, it made me laugh out loud pretty much non-stop.

I've just bought a class D audio amplifier and really good bookshelf speakers during Black Friday week.

Now it also needs to be wired and I was quite astonished when the salesman in a hi-fi shop in the city tried to sell me two ready-made 2.5m high-end ‘Voodoo’ loudspeaker cables with 4mm banana plugs for €250 (on sale).

I ordered 8 gold-plated 4mm banana plugs from Ali, bought 10m of 4mm2 industrial stranded copper wire for power applications in the hardware store, some heat-shrink tubing, two RFI ferrite cores and now I own two „sophisticated“ speaker cables for a total of €20, with which I can hear the grass grow. 😄

Stopped taking Tramadol last night (last dose at about 8pm).

Woke up this morning feeling like I had significantly more braincells.
I can also have a shower today. That'll be a nice gift for the whole family.

I am happy to report that my shower was a resounding success and I feel marvellous. Although I still had to avoid showering my head, so that was a wet wipe/cleanser affair.
