Twenty days plus exceeding 10,000 steps per day and on some days doing over 13,000 steps. This makes me very happy.

So many people complaining about yogurt these days....it's becoming a culture.

Missing trampers found alive after 18 days
Jeez. All they needed to do was take flares, a strobe, laser flare and/or a PLB. And a GPS/Map/Compass.
They do not sound terribly experienced...
Good that they survived but they could have avoided a lot of aggro.
A Finnish saying I read recently made me chuckle.
"There are two kinds of people in the world.
Avoid both of them."
Watching live the two astronauts getting into the Dragon capsule in their super stylish and svelt space suits - ready for the NASA Demo2 launch.
They got into their seats and both almost immediately looked up and started fiddling with their touchscreens. It looked for all the world like any old flight and the first thing you do is attack the IFE to choose what movie you want to watch and what time you want your dinner.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
Videos of cats doing something cute or funny.

... but at least they probably won’t have to sit through a cheesy safety video. 😀

Or will they? I can see Musk making it compulsory on all Space flights, just for sh!ts and giggles.

Some idiot is playing around with fake "felt reports" for an earthquake that didn't happen on the Geonet site:
43 reports of "severe" shaking. It could be something small that really annoyed me - but I'm now convinced that morons doing silly but mainly harmless things is normal human behaviour. I think they'd have needed to fill out 43 separate reports with location stated for each.
(Edit: ...and no - it wasn't me)

Do you have kurzarbeit? Is there much of a financial impact on you?
Many of my German colleagues are on kurzarbeit.
Yes, Kurzarbeit. Financial impact for me: zero. Financial load for the state: zero. I only have to empty safety time buffers from the past (especially for events like that, desasters or whatever) and 1/3 of my vacances - you can't travel anyway. One could say I'll pay my personal bill for Covid by myself (so far) for the year to come starting on next Monday.

Of all things, a bill. One line item in particular:
Geek tax at 0%, pretty sweet! Thanks @vygrnetworkmonkey
Quite a comparison to my previous provider's bill, much less publicly available online pricing for competitors. And not even a special deal!
I just spent half an evening writing a simple Web server in C, so that I wouldn't have to use PHP. I'm not sure whether I should be smiling or crying!
I haven't tried to optimise anything yet, but there's a nice feeling about having a server in 3268 bytes...
