Fossie: mushion, why do you have a mirror next to your big display? :P

Its important for mac users to be able to see themselves at all times to confirm their unilateral superiority...

To show them the sadness in their eyes for settling for second best, for feeling dirty for buying an Apple instead of the always superior Windows machine...

The only sadness we see in our eyes is that caused by sorrow for the many thousands of users we see daily struggling to go about their lives with the daily drag of a Windows machine on their heels.

OFFTOPIC!!!11!!!

Can we please stay on topic, this thread is about photos of user's setups, not about how Windows is superior to Macs...

Hehehe.

I'll post a pic in a couple of days...

After looking at some of the rigs people have here, I feel a little inadequate LOL.  I wouldn't call some of them "desks", rather, "Captain's Bridge".

As for the use of a mirror - I actually did that here at work - I sit with my back facing the room, and sales reps have a habit of just "appearing" behind me. A rear-vision mirror put stop to any surprises...  there's nothing worse than designing something for someone, only to have them start back-seat driving, when they don't know the first thing about graphics or typography.

No prep or tidying for this shot, other than minimising application windows.

It's almost ironic that my desktop wallpaper shows a messy room lol.

(Wallpaper is actually sepia toned monochrome. 6120c cameraphone fail)

And home... (Note the Macbook in the corner LOL)....
When it's in the lounge, it sits by itself on a frosted glass coffee table.
Can't see all the cabling, but it has the audio interface on top of the PA plugged into it for 2 channels in (choice of dual XLR sockets or dual 1/4" jacks) and two channels out (stereo RCAs).
