Watched Superbad... It's superbad, but talking to a few people and they actually thought it was funny. Seriously folks, don't waste your time. You won't get it back!

Surf's Up on TV2. Not bad for a kid's movie. 7.5/10 for the funny quotes.

Love Actually! - Yes I know! My wife made me (well, she had snaffled the tivo remote).
For starters obviously its very chic-flicky. The main problem with this movie is its like the people who made Four Weddings and a Funeral thought the Americans may like this brit stuff more with an American in it (so:Notting Hill (which I liked much more)) then how to make it even more appealing to them - stuff even more American actors in it! Theres a lot of yank actors I like. But some suit a certain type of movie. This movie tries to appeal to too many people. American movie fans and Brit movie fans. It may do just that, but for me it was a bit too OTT for what I would expect to see in what appeared to me to be a British Romcom. 3/10 (8/10 if you want to impress a girl of your romantic side:)

Thought the same, superbad was a good title for this movie. Didnt even bother watching the whole thing, 30 minutes in and that was me.

500 Days of Summer

Usually you expect comedies to be stupid, and romance to be boring. But this one's in its own league - even though entirely predictable, it doesn't allow your mind enough time to wonder. I would be biased because this film is about humanism - the nature of success and failure, and when struck with melancholy - laugh away at the helplessness. Not everyone will enjoy it though - 9/10

Watched Sherlock Holmes last night... Very good adaptation, with a Guy Ritchie style of movie. Recommended.

Just watched Ronin on DVD (again, I have it and watch every few months). Very good movie and if you haven't seen the car chase scene, then you are missing something...

Just watched Frat Party, well fast forwarded through most of it, what a waste of time. Only worthwhile watching for the titti3s.

The Lovely Bones - Not bad but also not as good as i thought it would be. I didn't like how the movie ended.

6.5/10

Invictus - A good movie, i thought some of the acting was a bit contrived at times, however pretty good overall and the rugby scene re-enactments looked good.

7.5/10

ajobbins: The Lovely Bones - Long, but a very good movie

Just watched it and thought it was ok... and btw, Peter Jackson was in one of the scenes !
He was looking through a movie camera where the father collected the last roll of film to be developed. It reminded me of trying to spot Alfred Hitchcock in all of his old movies.

Watched The Day The Earth Stood Still and my god was it awful! It seemed to drag itself and then suddenly ended in about 30 seconds. 1/10
