So I ordered something off Mobilefun standard mail non-tracked which was sent last Monday 4th December. It is only now after wondering when it was going to turn up that I see Mobilefun state 10-15 working days delivery time (I should have chosen courier). I have no problem with Mobilefun as they clearly state delivery time, my fault for not reading at time of order. I am curious however to know how something can take this long to deliver within NZ? Has anyone experienced an item taking 15 working days to get to them, even at this busy time of year? I have had items from overseas take less time to arrive.

I believe a lot of their product comes from an Aus based warehouse doesn't it?

Ok. That would explain it. They don't say that on the website

No, doesn't seem to explain their shipping locations very well at all.

For all we know it could be drop-shipped....

I've previously had a convo with someone that got theirs sent from Aus.

More likely it is coming from Singapore or Hong Kong, given that by DHL delivery is still up-to 4 days.

Could also be coming from UK, that's where Mobile Fun Limited head office is.

I send... 25-50 untracked parcels a week, 7-10 days is normal, sometimes up to 14, rarely longer but not unheard of (if it's that long I'll open a ticket with nz post).

1. NZPost only delivers 3 days a week most (urban) places, a surprising number of people still think they get mai, every day
2. NZPost does not deliver to every address (ie, most business street addresses do not get postal delivery) and if you supplied a no-postal-delivery address it may take a long time, or be returned to sender eventually

A LOT of people give me non delivery addresses, they just don't realise that thier business uses a po box and there is no postie who delivers mail to thier street address, or they don't know the difference between post and courier. It got so bad I setup an automated email getting people to double check thier address if they selected untracked post delivery.

I ordered a phone case from MobileFun on the 8th Nov and nothing ever came. I then got in contact with them, and they reshipped it on the 2nd Dec, but it's now the 18th Dec and still nothing has arrived. I understand that this is still within the 15day shipping period.

I was advised that all orders ship from the UK.

I've received parcels from my family in the UK sent using standard international on the 1st Dec, and they arrived on the 13th Dec, but still nothing from Mobilefun.

I've double checked the postal address, and my postal address is residential.

I'm not really sure where to go from here.
