I think you need to build a bridge and get over it you don't have evidence

Did you respond to the posts on the forum? I suspect you got yourself banned for responding to the troll so the troll won

Sounds like a songs lyrics to me. Cant recall who, but I can recall the tune!

Whether you like it or not, your pet troll has your number, and isn't going to give up, so you might as well say good riddance to bad rubbish.
FWIW, I reckon your best bet would be to cut yourself off from any forum that your troll inhabits. Yeh, you may lose contact with decent people, but you can contact people you are happy to be in touch with on an individual basis and explain the situation.

And then, if you must participate on fora, come up with a new handle/avatar/whatever that is totally unrelated to your previous one that is giving you so much grief, and make sure you sign up using only data that cannot be used to identify you. Eviscerating your presence online up until now may suck, but it may be preferable to what you're having to deal with now.

That was a cover version. I cannot remember who did the original. Was it not Buddy Holly?

your worried about a troll following you round different forums then you make a post about everything you have done in film?

way to make it easy for them.

I think many of us have had a negative experience with someone else, here or elsewhere. But we dont get trolled. Its how you handle yourself "post" troll. Not saying you do, but if you do or say anything that feeds it, it will hang around for more food. The best weapon is silence.

Silence is what makes them angry when you don't repsond or say thank you to everything

“Silence is golden, golden
But my eyes still see”.

(More song lyrics).

If he's already done that, what are you worried about? Sorry, I'm a bit lost here. I prefer to keep to myself too but I don't go around promoting my radio show unless people ask me about it.

Well, as an actor and film enthusiast, it's nice to get feedback about the camera work, acting, or whatever. I've posted my videos on many forums. I'm not sure why I don't get much of a response. Maybe folk take a brief look, and don't understand my loud voice, or the Scottish accents. But everyone plugs something. That's how your network grows. If a website for example never got many hits, it would never evolve from improvements.

I find it oddly self-serving and borderline narcissistic... (imho)
