This thread prompted me to have a look back through my history on this site. An interesting way to chart my changing Geek interests. Coming up 10 years in a few months which I know is only a noob compared to some. I like the interaction with people who may be completely different from me but have a similar interest in something technological. I think I have finally learnt what forums to avoid, as they get the closest to the toxicity that some have described on other websites. Mods do a great job of keeping things in check.

I have learnt a lot, and hopefully given something back as well.

Areas of Geek interest: Home Theatre, HTPC, Android Tablets & Phones, iProducts.

I hit 9 years today.

I like being able to talk to other people about how technology works, what doesn't work, deals that are on. I also like helping people when I can (probably not as often as i'd like to).

Geekzone is an awesome place to learn, and discuss, and maybe even sometimes open others eyes, and stop them living in an echo chamber.
