The following bird flew into our house & Parked itself by a window. Before we scooted it out we took a picture as we were not sure what kind of bird it was. Any ornithologist you have any idea? Thanks

Was going to say we've got a lot of Tuis up for grabs..... but then thought about it, and haven't actually seen that many lately. Guess that hawk that's moved into the area has scared them off.

 

Is a little unusual (IMO) to see a hawk move into suburbia by the ocean. But this one has done it.

This leucistic waxeye came to our bird feeder a couple of winters ago.  Very pretty IMO.
