Hey all,

I am fan of older music, GNR, Chillis, Bowie, Pink Floyd, Zepplin to name a few.
I like all their hit tracks but given the large size of their discographies I find it hard to find new tracks I like without trawling through hours of songs. So I came here to expand my list. (I must have some music attention deficit disorder cause I can't listen to things that don't satisfy my ears for more than a few minutes)

I came across this little gem when listing to the Talking Heads the other day!

What else have you guys got hot on your play lists from this era.

We can all admit a song like this modern one is catchy but you just listen deeper into it and its just tash IMO.

Cheers!

The wonderful Miss Sandie Shaw.

Recorded in the BBC Studios, London, 1967. Due to budgetary constraints, also featuring the entire BBC secretarial pool and bookkeeping depts on stage, clearly having the time of their lives:

I came across this when I was a Talking heads fan about 37 years ago:

Sorry about tragic video quality:

I'm still fortunate enough that our IT haven't blocked external USB drives... I've got a USB Drive with a bunch of music on it (all ripped from CD's I own)

I built up this list the other day to break up a couple of the other lists I've built p

One of the better songs ever. 1972, Stevie Wonder - Superstition

I am of the generation where I should love everything from the mid 80s to the early 90s, but thats music I have heard a zillion times when working in radio.

And then we have the brilliant Golden Earring in 1973

Followed by this gem in 2015 (43 years later)

And at 61 years of age, I still LOVE flying down the Himatangi Straights with this on full blast!

I'm surprised that Talking Heads are here.

Anything from the "Remain in Light" album, e.g. Cross Eyed and Painless:
