I have an Acatel U5 and it is a steaming pile of feces.

Often just fails to charge and requires a reboot to 'see' the charger, it's very, very slow and frequently just ignores incoming calls that I only notice once I get the voicemail notification.

The screen is poor in light conditions and the phone has the weird habit of muting itself for no reason and frequently drops wifi and goes to 4g eating my limited data plan

I *really* want to replace it with something that isn't a pile of junk but finances are tight and it is working (for certain values of work).

I am using my SO's old Samsung Galaxy Ace3 for more than a year after my 3 year old S3 screen shattered.

Time to move to a new phone is long overdue.

What a great prize!  If I was somehow lucky enough to win, my two and a bit year old Nexus 5X would be consigned to the drawer of technology memories :)

I'm hoping to replace my Samsung Note 3 with a more up to date phone.

Cheers

Not for myself, but my brother does aid work in India and any old useful tech I have lying around like phones I give to him to give out to less fortunate back in India.

If I was lucky enough to grab one I would flick it his way as I have no use for one.

Does replacing my landline count?  Since they turned off the band on my old flip top phone I haven't carried a mobile.  Call me a dinosaur, I don't care, but maybe, just maybe one of these could tempt me to carry one again.

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017), which is so so, but when I travel to Australia for work I end up having to carry around 2 phones (an old iphone 5) in order to keep using my NZ sim, and Optus AU sim.

So would love to have one of the dual sim Nokia's (presume they both support dual sim).

This photo was taken with my galaxy a3, bit grainy, but you get the idea :)

Thanks Spark for offering these phones up!

Would be happy to replace my mother in law's Oppo (crazy software)... or maybe even getting me out of iOS ecosystem?!

:)

Nice present for whoever gets to win this prize!

I wake up, bleary eyed I grasp my phone and silence the barrage of noise emanating from within it's icy shell. Check the time, realise I forgot to plug it in the night before and watch it turn off as I scramble for the charging cable.

Eating breakfast, patiently waiting for it to spring to life, hoping that it has enough life to last me on my journey to the office. I know deep down that it won't, but I'm a foolish optimist.

Now skilled at skim reading, my inbox is assaulted as I churn through emails from the night before, deleting those that will draw my attention and more power than absolutely necessary.

My headphones lie dormant, cast aside in a pile of devices that eat into the ever decreasing battery life.

I call it my desk phone, as it sits there, umbilical cord attached. Mobile only when absolutely required, occasionally unlocked like a coveted object that has a finite number of uses until it expires.

It's old, well worn and now barely usable. Replacing it with Nokia's latest and greatest would definitely improve my life!

But, but I love my Mate 10. Not a big EMUI fan tho so I would love to play with pure android as never owned this. One would end up with my Mum who has my Samsung note 3 (and if you hate EMUI you hate Samsung bloat more). She has refused to even try a new phone so far but does like my Mate 10 so who knows.

Would love to replace my sisters phone, some odd ball samsung thing. I'm forever clearing photos and apps off it make some room.

Plus being pure android I won't have to do this!
