Has anyone here been? How long is the show does anyone who attended recall? My wife has a domestic flight to catch at 7pm and we have a 3pm concert in Auckland.

Yep I went to the Wellington one.

Started at 8pm for us (was delayed due to the show muckup here in Wellington) and finished at just after 10pm. You should have plenty of time assuming you can get out and to the airport.

Speaking of which - not going to spoil it but incredible show!

(I saw you removed this post - I restored it as there doesn't seem to be a general Dynamo concert thread here) ;)

I saw him doing tricks for the Crusders injured players in CHCH which was very cool. I heard he was pretty slick.

I also very much enjoyed my Penn and Teller Experience in Las Vegas. Got to meet both of them and got an autograph (I am not really into that sort of thing, but really just decided to go for it anyways this one time).

It was incredibly neat. Like I say I am not going to spoil it but you're in for a bit of a treat. He is very slick and also no matter how much you analyse it, you're going to be astounded with some of the tricks he does.

When you learn how to do some of these tricks from Youtube magicians, it does take away some of the magic. But some of his illusions are still really good.

Sadly my wife hates magicians so I can't go see it. I could go alone, but where's the fun in that.

My wife and I have some fairly different interests, we do some things together and some things apart. It's been good for our relationship. Some people fear doing things apart "might be the start of the end" but for us it was the opposite.

Sometimes I'll do things with her I don't love, and vica versa.

Personally, I think if you want to see this, buy a ticket and go alone! It's not really a couples specific event anyways, you aren't going to be gazing lovingly into each others eyes when he's performing.

Luckily we are far beyond that stage, we don't have a problem doing things separately, I might end up seeing I can find tickets for up here.

GrabOne has tickets on their site starting at $49 + fees.

Was looking at taking my family but had some big expenses in the last month.
