I signed up to Credit Simple to check and monitor my credit score. It works well, but even though I've unticked all the boxes in my profile they can't or won't stop emailing me. Every week or two I get an email saying

Something changed with your accounts: Summary of changes: Accounts

I asked them to unsubscribe me, they came back and said

Account Deletion Request

Thank you for contacting Credit Simple. Please respond back to this email if you prefer to delete the account.

Seems like they're unable to stop emailing unless people delete their account. I'm just having a moan really. I can mark them as spam easy enough, but then I miss any interesting notifications.

Exact same thing happened to me. I ended up changing the email address linked to my account to one that I don't really use, which I check every month or so.

I can still login whenever in the meantime.

Sounds like a pretty consistent problem; I had this too, as well as the people in this thread:

the short story is you can not unsubscribe from their "credit update" emails. the only way to do so is to delete your account

which is what i did because if a company can not allow a user to opt out of all emails they dont deserve my patronage

Yeah I pulled the plug on them too. Horrible customer service.
