This has stuffed up my predictions for this year (made in another thread).
The newspapers debating whether shops should be allowed to open at Easter now has a big line through it. Likewise ANZAC Day being ‘Monday-ised’.
The role of the monarch being discussed in early June is still in the balance.
As for this weekend, I was originally supposed to be working, but that has been cancelled. So maybe I’ll walk anti-clockwise around my section rather than clockwise just to get a different perspective.

Best we can do is go sit in a room with no light, power, water, internet, paint or floor coverings.
Sounds like a bach we used to go to in Te Horo when I was a kid...fantastic!

It's probably a bit more exciting when it isn't 5m from where you're currently standing, and isn't the only place you can go other than the garage. :-P

One thing that is hard, is being able to switch off once you are working from home. You are moments away from replying to that one email you didn't quite get to, or sending that last quote, or following up on that one client issue.
It will be the hardest part of trying to get a break is pretending my "office" is actually 100KM away. One way I like to help myself here is.. Would I do this work task, if I had to travel 1 Hour return trip to do it.
I know what you mean. We've developed a nightly ritual, to signal the end of the working day.
Shut the office door and leave it shut until the next day.
Put some music on, have some nibbles and a drink, then start making dinner.
Works for us.

Well that depends; are you the leader of the opposition?

I'm planning on going away....from the front room/office
We are living in the garage as our house is about 6-8 weeks from renovation completion. Best we can do is go sit in a room with no light, power, water, internet, paint or floor coverings. The garage was OK while things were moving but I gotta say ... adding at least another month to and not being able to go anywhere is a bit annoying.
Wow, you are even-keeled. I'd be climbing the walls :)
I'd rate "a bit annoying" as similar to the Pope being "a bit Catholic" :)

Some might think so :)
Hide some eggs around our section for the kids to find (we have about 2ha). Probably eat chocolate and do some baking with the kids. Probably watch some Netflix and get a family game of Stardew Valley going.
Might drive 20km to go for a bikeride
or 2.5km to the beach
or maybe I'll drive to Tauranga for a zoom meeting
not sure really
:D
Will be celebrating Pastover by eating spaghetti dressed like pirates. So very similar to Holiday except no decorated tree.
This year we'll be saying a special prayer for hope - that the The Fork Horseman of the Apastalypse slays the false meatball:

I might have to do a couple of thousand km.....in an F1 car round the Red Bull ring, or a Nissan GTR round Mt Panarama.

We did a similar thing, but it also included dancing around naked until we we noticed a sign taped to the inside of the neighbours huge windows facing our own begging us to stop.
