The parcel marked as "Delivered Fri 12:04pm" magically appeared on top of our mailbox today, Sunday...

Move to New Zealand's best fibre broadband service (affiliate link). Note that to use Quic Broadband you must be comfortable with configuring your own router.

Either the courier signed when he collected from the depot, or dropped at wrong house and neighbour dropped here today or s/he is working Sundays.

Mine's apparently still processing, but there's a notice on their website now about delays they're experiencing. Talk about crap service.

Oh well, maybe someone will find the time to answer my message tomorrow. Or not.

I saw couriers driving around my area today (sunday) though admittedly it is this area's "my food bag" delivery day

I did resist the urge to run up to them all and demand my packages

Looks like they're doing things backwards with this one - tracking number added after it got to Highbrook

I got sent my tracking number 5 days after receiving my parcel, if that's any consolation to anyone. It was during level 4, delivery took less than a day.

BlinkyBill:

What is the point of this thread?

@BlinkyBill, sorry to have offended your senses, it was a simple question "we're others having this issue" clearly they are.

My "overnight" AKL-AKL parcel was picked up on 6th with estimated delivery as 11th (Today) but it still has not been sorted. Either it magically shows up today without being sorted or more likely end of this week/early next week. Not bothered but its annoying they even tried to say it would be delivered today.

On the other hand below is a parcel I sent to Nelson, no sign of it reaching the other island after 10 days.. Just thankful nothing I'm sending/receiving is time important.

@Nate001 bugger. My two packages are stuck processing at East Tamaki, but were picked up 5/5.

While other packages that have been delivered that go no where near AKL or East Tamaki arrive within 1 - 2 days.

Is East Tamaki the bottle neck I wonder?

I do wonder how legally defensible it is for couriers to offer an overnight service they know they can't achieve most of the time, under present circumstances.

For years I was wondering why people bother paying overnight with Saturday delivery knowing that a very large number of parcels wouldn't show up before Monday midday...

I do not know who delivers Australia Post items here in NZ, but I have one that has been in Auckland now doing nothing since Tuesday last week at 0709 hrs!

Most of my family live at RD addresses.  I always ask NZ Post whether I will get a refund if the parcel is not delivered Saturday (you don't).
