anybody used www.doolz.co.nz

i bought an item last week Monday still yet to get it
shipping say in progress does this mean they are yet to ship it or its been shipped

I've never used them, but "in progress" typically means it hasn't been picked yet. Give them a call.

I got a shipment of cables from Doolz a couple of weeks ago.  The shipment was quick but the package actually came from Anywhere Computers and was via Post Haste.  The Doolz web site is a bit strange, but it did give me a tracking URL, which never worked.  The tracking number was "not found" whenever I checked it.  But the package arrived the next business day and I never checked if the tracking worked after that.

Rant ON

4 items sent via Courier Post in the past 4 weeks and I have to collect every single one at the collection point because apparently an attempt was made to deliver and a CTC was left. NOPE no CTC and I have been at WFH for the past 6 months. In comparison, the local mailman has always delivered my items.

Rant OFF

I am sure that no one who's been through this thread needs to be reminded of what I think of CP but how's this for useless?

I booked a pickup this morning at my house circa 10am. I have a pre-paid bag ready to go. The useless local coctractor just drove by my house at around 3.45pm and dropped stuff to my neighbours and didn't collect my item.

What a waste of space.

Worst case I've got at the moment is Arrived at Destination Country 22/7 (not a typo, 22 July). Then one Arrived at Facility 20/9 and one 21/9, with no movement since then. So there's a lot of it out there.

I’ve got a parcel that has been ‘with courier driver’ since yesterday morning.
Each night at around 7:20pm it changes to ‘awaiting courier driver’, which I think might be an automated scan if it misses the cutoff time.

Has anyone had an issue like this? I’m worried the driver has ‘lost’ my new iPhone...

I've had this happen when the package has been with the local delivery branch (incompetent), not a real courier. In my case, the package has been delivered along with the next scheduled mail delivery, assuming that happens. Our local branch seems to treat Fridays as a holiday and regularly don't deliver to our street.

Two years in the post?

I was told once (unofficially) that items often fell through the rollers and nobody bothered to pick them up. Perhaps someone did a tidy up, and I may get my Amazon package missing since last November while supposedly en route to the local depot.

In an opposite experience, ordered two things from Amazon that took exactly one week from ordering to being delivered. They came from a warehouse in San Bernadino rather than halfway across the US, but it's still pretty quick even by pre-Covid standards.

Grumble. Been waiting for something from overseas since August - I know lots of people have been waiting longer - anyway decided to give them a bump today because their tracking system has shown it being scanned at local depots about six times and once in a courier. Got told they'd investigate, they rang back probably 20 mins later "nup cant find it contact the sender investigation closed"

cool.

Fair is fair. I just got a delivery of big packages (two computers) to a rural address in the wop wops from Auckland (I think), overnight delivery, sent yesterday, arrived today. How about that for performance?
