So Post Haste just informed that they couldn't locate the parcel and need to search the depot.  Fingers crossed.  Hope I wouldn't be out of pocket if they can't find it.

Behodar:

Ordered an item from the South Island and it was picked up on 17 December. It arrived in Tauranga on the 21st and has yet to make the ~90 minute drive from there to Whakatane. On Christmas Eve I talked to them and they apologised (it had been sent before the Christmas cutoff) and said they'd get it out ASAP. A week later I contacted them again and they didn't even bother to call back. Yesterday morning the tracking finally changed for the first time since Christmas Eve, saying that it's with the courier for delivery... but the courier didn't turn up.

It is here! Total time to get from Tauranga to Whakatane: 35 days.

Be happy it got there at all!

(To be fair, I have had some very impressive experiences with Courier Post recently.)

This was actually a different courier but I don't want to name names. I'm happy with CP.

My delivery to Brisbane, sent on Christmas Eve, finally arrived yesterday, over a month after being sent.

Even allowing for the Christmas break, I think that's pathetic.

I got very fed up with sending documents to the UK via NZ Post International Courier - expensive and hopelessly slow (last envelope of A4 papers, 6 weeks), with no tracking outside NZ that the customer can access.

This time I sent it FedEx.

I'm still waiting for my item that was sent from Brisbane just after New Year's.

Should a delivery from there to here take this long normally?

I gather the last entry on the tracking is a "I can't be shagged delivering this today, so I'll leave it til Monday" from the driver.

My delivery from Brisbane, sent just after New Year's never turned up. My friend is going to resend the item (chocolate).

What a ridiculous (lack of) service.

Same here, sent from Sydney in January, just fell into a black hole. If it can get from China to here via Dubai (Emirates Post) or Kazakhstan then you'd think they could manage to load it onto a plane in Sydney and unload it a few hours later in Auckland.

Ha ha, the East Tamaki black hole, I've experienced that a few times. I think it just trundles round on a conveyor belt for days at a time until it's ejected back out. That is a huge depot.

Nah! It fell off and rolled under the conveyer! It will (probably) be found by a cleaner!

My delivery from Brisbane never showed up. Luckily it wasn't anything important or overly valuable, I guess.

@quickymart did the sender from Brisbane have it tracked? otherwise yeah, it's probably not going to arrive now.
