from Christchurch to hamilton.. hopefully it's not stuck in Auckland
While I don't really like Aramex and think they should be avoided if possible, I will give them credit for adding an automated "Parcel delayed" when something goes beyond there ETA (which they also tend to adjust fairly often depending on network load).
Something you rarely see with NZPost, they just pretend all is well. Sometimes a banner on the top with an optimist eta.
Two parcels shipped PBTech HQ to CHCH, same van picked them up. One scanned at 13.30 at the sorter yesterday, the other at 15.30. The one at 15.30 turned up this morning, the other one is apparently taking the scenic route.
Of course the app or tracking number doesn't update to tell me this until after the first one arrived

Just a quick update, courier just came by for pickup, so at least pickups are still running, albeit at a new time, but key here is, they did come.
I have a parcel that is 7 days so far from Auckland - still hasn't reached the Christchurch Depot!
neb: At least they pretended to deliver that one, got a second shipment that's just disappeared off their tracking system.
They all arrived today, the delivered/undelivered/redelivered one after spending three days on a courier vehicle according to Aramex tracking, the two that disappeared for about a fortnight, and a box of Olivo oil that took three days total from Wairarapa to Orkland.
I think the oil unblocked the other packages and allowed them to slip through.
And a little boy waits
Been "Ready for courier" since 16/3 and 16/3 respectively. Courier driver was parked beside my driveway yesterday, he seems to organise his van there all the time so he's still working it seems..

Funny that you just posted this, I just got an email update from NZPost now about a parcel "Ready for courier" in Kaiwharawhara.
Ironically it was out for delivery a few days ago, but guess it didn't make it.
I think Wellington has been hit particularly bad with courier delays due to covid. At least going by Aramex's status page, which goes into more detail then NZPosts (nevermind, looks like NZPost now too show regional stats too, thanks @NzBeagle for pointing that out).
Aramex says +4 days delay atm.
Wellington might be worse than suggested. A lot fewer green dots on their network indicator than the Aramex example you posted too.

I'm thankful for the fast delivery, but I think the driver was definitely speeding to deliver this package

Ah, thanks for the status links - didn't realise they had one
Makes sense, my local driver is always awesome so I suspected they're just getting slammed
A positive news story for a change. I think this might be a new record considering the order was place around 1pm on 17/03.
DHL Trans Tasman looks to be a bit shit at the moment, hopefully they update it to be something more reasonable
Did my first Amazon (US) Order. 8 Days from order to Delivery by Aramex. Same type of item ordered a month ago via AliExpress has spent the last 5 days getting from Auckland to Christchurch via NZPost, and it is not showing as even reached Christchurch yet!
CP is struggling is some regions.
I'm still waiting on a Wellington parcel to get delivered, 2 weeks and counting.
