I guess there might be delays as we approach the Christmas break.

BTW, my certificate was printed on Friday and it arrived today. Though I was told it would take 3-4 weeks to arrive but got it in one business day.

An overview of the timeline so far

10th Dec 2020 - Applied online in Wellington

20th October 2021 - Asked to confirm the personal details

2nd November 2021 - Application got approved

26th November 2021 - Certificate printed

29th November 2021 - Received the certificate.

Have applied for the passport today. I will update once I get any updates.

Congrats , they finally start to pick up speed in processing application so I hope they don't slow down , so from people post I think they have already started working on January paper application,

also maybe they start also working on allocating late January and start of February online applications

Congrats , was confirmation detail email on 4th of November ? because confirmation email happen after case officer assigned and have done most of the work on application.

Thanks. The email of the 4th November was to do an updated identity check and provide a further document. We then had to get an Australian Police Check which delayed us over a week. As soon as we received them (scanned by a friend in OZ) we sent them through on 25th November, we then received the confirm details email and approved 5 days later.

Yes we did thanks.

The email says our certificates will be posted within the next 2 months.

It's been a long wait, but so excited now.

you can ask them next week about certificate print day usually will be soon

Do you know who you ask about the print date for certificates? Is it the case officer?

Congratulations on your approval!

Its a separate team that deals with the certificates - not the case officer. I was contacted 9 days after getting my email of approval telling me the date on which my certificate is due to be printed (which is next week)

And the date on which it will be printed is about 3 weeks from the date of approval.

I have seen some people on this forum say they have been contacted about the printing of their certificates on the same day to seven days after the date of approval . Hope this helps :)
