im not saying sell the business, just the url smaps.co.nz

what are they going to do with otherwise, just keep it on hold or let it expire?

So www.smaps.co.nz would still work as a mapping system, just using googles maps and keeping smaps easy api so map urls look better.

That would be so cool.

Thats odd, I thought a lot more people used Smaps.

I used to use Wises all the time, but then they did some renovations which had them doing everything in Java (from memory) and it became a real pig of a site.
The 'Driving Directions' feature was always really good though.

Sad to see Smaps go though.
