Kinsten's got the right idea! Buy more for your woman.

I for one think I'll be avoiding queensgate like the plague no matter how great the deals, its just too nuts down there at this time of year.

heavenly_wild: I see Noel Leeming has a 20% off sale for Boxing Day starting as early as 6pm tonight online!

20% off Sony, Vodafone, HP, etc.

Shame it doesn't include Sony Vaios!!!!!

Cool. Where did you see that? Do you have a list of all the brands they will have on sale?

LOL, I didn't say I was buying for my women, she has her own money, and plenty of it.  Got lots of tips, extra pressies and beat her budget by crap loads, so will effectively get about $600 more than me, almost double my weekly wage!

I knew I should have become a hair dresser!

this is a good 'load test' for a website. so - just how many people are trying to hit the server? surely not all 4 million people are typing noelleeming.co.nz all at once??

needed to refresh 5 times to lock on! now going fast.

it (N-L) doesnt list the fine prints on the front big sign - but inside it does say excluding vaios and mp3s. my question is what about ps3 and games?

heavenly_wild: Hey folks,

It is the right time of the year to go shopping for the latest gadgets, notebook PCs, mobile phones, etc.

Two questions:

1) Would you wait for the Boxing Day sales or buy before that?

2) What's on your own wish list?

For me, I am definitely waiting for the Boxing Day sales as most retailers offer 20% discounts off most - if not all - notebooks for example.

Looking to pick-up a Sony Vaio!
How special are these prices? Wouldn't know as I've never owned a laptop.

Good luck, as you will surely need it! You would be more likely to buy yourself a set of hens teeth.

playtech generally have lowest vaio prices on pricespy.co.nz but do check! alternatively compare with the RRP at sony.co.nz (generally vaios don't deviate from the listed rrp at all)

Yes they usually do but Noel Leeming does 20% off Sony Vaios from time to time.  It's disappointing they aren't offering such a deal for Boxing Day.
